Water

Now. Here we have Lantis Water.
During the Lantis Matsuri, I got a whole cardboard box’s worth of it
(lol)
Water has become a really important drinking ‘tool’ during daily work.
I intended to hide the Lantis Water in my bag and drink them one by one but the truth is, I…
…hate drinking water!!!
When I drink from PET bottles the amount of water inside never seems to get less~.
I think it’s probably because the water has no flavour, so it feels like I don’t make any progress (when I’m drinking it)…
If they put some flavour in it I’d probably gulp it down~
Even when I’m exercising I can’t seem to get the water level down, it’s only when the trainer starts forcing me to drink that I do
This is all I have, and it’s water from Mt. Fuji (is it?) so it should be delicious, I’ll make sure I drink the contents of the whole box~

It's out
The new product I found yesterday
It’s called “Pumpkin Pudding”
I bought some to share with the staff and ‘Delicious ’ was what they said~
Of course I think so too
So it’s a collaboration with Disney Mickey-chan is cute
…Ah, I wish I could collaborate with them too…

Today I was in a hurry to leave for work and I left my mobile phone in the house
When I realised it wasn’t in my bag (Ehh, did I drop the phone somewhere
)
I started getting reeeeaaalllly nervous
When work was over I flew home as fast as I could~
And I found my phone buried in my futon
Gotta be more careful tomorrow

Lantis-san
It wasLantis Matsuri today
I think that there were a lot of people who took part in both days, thanks for the hard work
I was moved by the large number of flags and the many smiles.
Truly, thank you
Today I sang Paradise Lost, Tomorrow’s chance and Junpaku Sanctuary, the song that marked my beginning with Lantis.
Whenever I sing that song, I always recall the strong feelings of ‘Finally, I get to sing the songs that I want to..’ that I held in those days. Thinking of myself back when I was unable to sing from (the viewpoint of ) the me that is now singing – it’s an unbelievable feeling. I have a place where I can make music; I have a place where I can sing songs.
That Chihara Minori is now able to achieve a dream that once looked out of reach no matter how hard I tried and tried and tried is all down to Lantis.
The Lantis staff members always have smiles on their faces
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been saved by those smiles…
Seeing the tears of the staff after Lantis Matsuri had ended, an overwhelming feeling of gratefulness overcame me. Lantis is truly a warm and wonderful company

Can’t Find It
Something really embarrassing happened today.
It was an incident that occurred in a taxi
Just after the car had started off, music started playing.
(Eh? Where have I heard this voice before…)
WHAT THE...ISN'T THIS ME
Yeaaaahh All of a sudden “Tomorrow’s chance” had started playing
And because it was the sound source of a rehearsal I had done when I was alone, I sounded kinda high…
It seems I accidentally turned the ON switch when I was sitting in the taxi
Oh gosh it was so, so embarrassing I kept repeating ‘Sorry'like a broken record.
Today I’ve got an IC recorder with me instead, but it’s a bit small and I can’t seem to find it…
Seems to be lost in my luggage somewhere
The incident lasted maybe a few seconds, but it seemed like eternity
I haven’t felt this much fear in a long time…
it feels like my life span has shortened (lol).
Anyway, turning my feelings around tomorrow is the second day of Lantis Matsuri~
I’ll be bursting through to the end~

Stir-Fried Veg
I’m hoome~
I bought plenty of veg at the supermarket today
Haven’t had my dinner yet
Coming home at this time of the night and wondering what I should eat, it’s a big headache for me
Truthfully I should just bear with it but it seems to be impossible
As much as possible, I want to stick to low-calorie (meals)
Lately when I talk about (eating) vegetables, it always seems to be stir-fry.
‘I can’t go wrong with a stir-fry!’ seems to be the mentality…sigh
But that’s OK since I love veg!
(lol)
And today I have some delicious-looking scallops as well, so I want to eat them as soon as possible

Rehearsal
Today there was rehearsal for [Lantis Matsuri]
The weather is soooo nice
Seeing a scenery featuring all the stage staff wearing sunglasses…it’s the first time I’ve seen it (lol)
Gotta be like this, huh…with the sun beating down, I found it hard to sing with my eyes open
But the sky was really pretty, I could see Mt. Fuji clearly, it’s the strongest situation
I hope the weather is just as good during the actual event

S-Sleepy…
I’m home~
For some reason I couldn’t sleep at all last night, so I feel extremely sleepy at the moment
...
It’s really tough when you want to sleep but can’t sleep isn’t it
Being sensitive to small noises, gradually getting scared of the dark until you turn on the lights, tossing and turning and continuing to roll around and around and around and around…
It’s something that happens a lot just before a live performance; it’s pretty bothersome
I ran a lot tonight so I hope I can sleep well

Today was a very calm day
Getting to see my grandma’s face, being able to visit graves
I must try harder in order not to lose to my ever youthful and cheerful grandmother

Silver Week
Is everyone having fun during ‘Silver Week’?
I wonder if there are a lot of people on holiday
It’s so nice to have consecutive holidays isn’t it

Tomorrow I will go visit graves with my father
I wasn’t able to go together with my family during Obon, so I will go during Ohigan instead
It’s great that I’m able to set up a meeting with my father

I went to watch “Horie Yui o Meguru Bouken 2 ~Budoukan de Butoukai~”
Honestly speaking, I became a honeybee in support (of Hocchan) Yui-chan’s singing and dancing and stage performance was so fun, it made my heart feel light I didn’t think I would laugh so much.
It was Kumaster interesting (lol)
And she was oh so cute... So very cute...
(There can only be a single person that cute in this world...) was what I thought last night
I was so happy to be able to sing ‘Yahho’ together with Yui-chan on her birthday

Cassette tape
GET
I really wanted to get hold of 10-minute cassette tapes~ And four in a box Tape recorders are so convenient it’s hard for me to graduate from using them
There must be lots of people who’ve never used or even listened to music on cassettes tapes~. When I think of that it feels kinda strange When I was in grade school it wasn’t CDs but cassette tapes that we’d buy to listen to our favourite artists.., and in the blink of an eye we’ve all switched to CDs

Dun-dun!
Sorry that yesterday’s update only came in the morningI am feeling very well(lol)
It was a relaxing day for me today~As the weather was nice, taking a walk outdoors felt good~
But the weather forecast says a typhoon is on the way, so do take care
Tonight I went to see another classical concert.
Using my own free time to go to many places, to see many things, to listen (to many things)... That was how I wanted to nourish my heart when I got time offbut today’s concert was reaaally wonderful...

Another New Product!?

Today I wanted to look for a particular electronical product so off to the shops I went, but I couldn’t find what I wanted… (lol) Is it that big electronics goods stores are separated into ‘A’ and ‘B’ buildings with either one selling different items? I seem to get confused by this a loooot~
Eventhough the salesperson gave me directions to the correct building I still got lost on the way… It’s really troublesome especially when I’m in a hurry
I’ll give up today and try again some other time

Rehearse Rehearse
Today there were rehearsals for [Lantis Matsuri]
It’s on the 26th and 27th September, so just over a week away. I’m excited*
By the way, I will be performing on the 27th
Rehearsal time, and it’s with people I am comfortable with,
So both my mind and body are also totally at ease Trying out new voice training drills etc,
There was a lot of interesting stuff going on
The venue is Fuji-Q Highland Conifer Forest I’m really happy to be able to come to the lovely green Mount Fuji once again I’m starting to feel my tension rising~
I was looking at a huge poster for the Lantis Matsuri stuck in the Family Mart
frequent and started getting nervous**(lol)
For those who are going to the Festival, please take care of your health so that you can enjoy the concert to the fullest~
*dokidoki **wakuwaku - Both can be interchangeably translated as nervous/excited.

Capable Girl

Today at the discount shop I started getting engrossed in the bath items ‘til I didn’t want to leaveYou really can find almost anything these days can’t you~?
I was so very super interested in the cleaning goods that I ended up GETTING one item
When I clean my bathtub I always used to climb inside and ended up getting foam all over myself, but using this girl* here the bathtub gets clean inside out pretty easily
Mmmm....
For some reason I feel really capable
I can polish my daily cleaning skills even more now Yay!

Empty Box
The famous Summer Camp goods, ‘Minorimochi’.... I can’t seem to throw the empty box away....
After Summer Camp, I cheekily took some Minorimochi for myself.
And for a while I couldn’t bring myself to open it as it seemed such a waste -
if I opened it I’d have to eat the mochi straightaway...my heart was in a quandary...
But, the sell-by-date drew closer and closer (I have to eat it~), I got impatient and started eating the mochi one after
the other until I finished up the whole box... and now it feels kinda lonely (lol)
Whilst eating the mochi I started recalling all the good memories of Summer Camp... that’s sort of unnecessary right
Under my bed lies this secret box of memories which I will take great care of
Ahhhh the mochi was so delicious...

Jazz Live
Today I went to Yuu-chan’s live~
Yuu-chan is the wonderful violinist who played on the Parade tour~
I had been looking forward to this, so after work was done I had to make a mega dash for it~
I was worried I wouldn’t make it in time but somehow I was SAFE
A jazz live is very refreshing and wonderful. I was really moved by Yuu-chan’s compositions and nearly cried as he was playing a ballad during the encore.
Everyone looked liked they were really enjoying themselves on stage, and it created a fun and happy atmosphere in the crowd
I think I’ll be having a good sleep tonight

Kyun Kyun!
The DVD I love most at the moment is...
「The Devil Wears Prada 」
The lead character Andy is soooooooooooo cute~
‘To think that such a beautiful and cute human being exists ’ is what I thought. Ohh, it’s making me all kyun kyun
I happened to see this just as I was going out and it charmed my heart so I went to buy the DVD, and no matter how many times I’ve watched it I still love the story so much~. As the fashion industry is the setting, the clothes that you see in the movie are wonderful and also the story is so inspirational...
As a woman, there’s so many parts I can empathize with and it makes me think ‘I should also work harder~’, that’s one of the good points . Watching Andy lifts my spirits high, and I sometimes just casually watch the movie in the mornings
It’s a production I would highly recommend to girls.

Yay!!
[Pain de Chocolat] - Found
After I wrote yesterday’s blog post, I started becoming desperately determined to eat it and ended up wandering aimlessly around supermarkets and convenience stores. I’m sure everyone became interested in this after watching the CM, right? That’s what a popular item is like.
And finally, Chihara Minori has found ‘Poplar’ It seems there was a lot put on sale but when I went there only a few were left I feel so relieved to have been able to get my hands on it Not sure why, but it feels like I triumphed with a great victory (lol)
As for the taste - it’s mildly sweet and somehow has a light-hearted feel to it.
It feels like a pastry for adults.
I feel full of achievement tonight

I wanna eat it....
There is a commercial featuring Miwa Akihiro* for a certain product that I became very interested in after seeing it just once.
It’s a pastry that sort of resembles French bread and is covered with chocolate. A type of pastry I’ve never seen before... and I felt like eating it.
If I stumble upon a place that sells it, I’d love to buy some and bring it to work for everyone to eat but I can't seem to find it
Instead I saw a lot of Kyoro-kyoro** antennas at the convenience store... Maybe it’s because I’m me that I can’t find it...
Is there anyone here who has found and eaten this bread? Chocolate-covered mini French bread...

Chihara Minori, Obsessed with Getsuku*
I bought it
I only bought it so late, I’m so stupid stupid stupid...
B’z new song Ichibu to Zenbu, it’s nice isn’t it.. Aahh... I want to hear it live...
Oddly, from last week I started to really get into Getsuku. I haven’t really been watching much television lately, but I happened to see a Buzzer Beat~Gakeppucchi no Hero digest episode and started to get absorbed in it.
It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten so nervous yet excited while watching dramas
This week’s episode was mostly [Grrrrrrr] for me (lol).
Pretty please make a happy ending

Applause from the heart
I went to watch [Hisaishi Joe Orchestra Concert 2009 ~Minima Rhythm~]
This is the first time I’ve been to the Suntory Hall - the acoustics are wonderful and skillfully captured the heart-rending nature of Hisaishi-san’s musical world.
I was really moved by ‘Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa’ and ‘Gake no Ue no Ponyo’
This was the final day of the tour so I wonder if there were mixed emotions going through Hisaishi-san’s heart. After the performance ended, all the viewers stood up and gave a never-ending ovation. As I applauded I could feel the warmth in my heart and tears start to well up in my eyes. The many people who love the music of Hisaishi-san. Hisaishi-san, a lover of music, a person who continues to make music.
Tonight, I was able to meet the Hisaishi-san I wanted to meet, to be able to be touched by Hisaishi-san’s music, my heart is fulfilled.

A handmade fashion BOOK
Currently I’ve been going in for lots of tailoring appointments – every time I do I bring along fashion magazines and it was beginning to get a bit inconvenient. So I started cutting out pictures of the clothes I liked from the magazines, collected and then pasted them to make my own little book. I was thinking that this would make discussions and suggestions much easier…
And sure enough it was useful straight away.
Following on in the same pattern I think I should be able to make more of these books… so I’m going to focus my efforts for the future.And as a result, the piles and piles of magazines in my room are now gone
Getting my room in order, making my work easier… it’s like killing two birds with one stone.
